What this site is
aw-game.com is an editorial index of hotels. It exists to answer one question well: what is this place actually like to stay in? Everything is written as prose, because a specification grid tends to flatten the difference between a converted villa and a sleeping pod, and that difference is the whole point.
How the categories work
Four groups, fixed: art hotels, capsule hotels, casino hotels and ice hotels. They are not a ranking and they do not overlap. A property appears in the category that describes what it fundamentally is, not the one that would flatter it most.
What this site does not do
There are no star ratings, no guest reviews and no booking engine. Prices are not quoted, because they move faster than any written page can follow. If a description sends you to a hotel's own site to check availability, that is the intended outcome.
Accuracy
Descriptions are based on what the properties are known for and are kept general enough to stay true as details change. Hotels renovate, rebuild and occasionally change hands. Where something reads as out of date, corrections are welcome through the contact page.
Independence
No hotel pays for inclusion, placement or wording. The roster reflects editorial choice alone.
